Grandbaby Paris

Paris June Parker
Born Saturday, April 3rd at 8:27pm
5lbs 4oz and 18 1/2" long

At the hospital trying to keep the boys busy. They were very sad that they could not see the baby but excited to see mom.

This is today (Saturday, April 10th). We drove Helena to the hospital and then Amy was going to pick her up later. When we walked in the nursery, the nurse said Paris did very well eating last night. After a couple of hours, the nurse walked in and said the doctor was here, and Paris could probably go home. We were very excited! Helena wasn't expecting that today. She thought Sunday or Monday. We called Chris, since he had to get a smaller car seat and Paris' clothes. Helena has brought her clothes up every time except today, just in case she could take Paris home. So Craig and I left since Chris was coming to take them home.

Baby Paris has arrived home at last!!
Helena called before she, Chris, and the baby got home so we could see the boys reaction. When we knocked on the door the boys yelled "The babys here!" which this is the first time they didn't yell "grandpa!" In a little while, the baby arrived home. This is the first time the boys have seen her. They were very excited!!!

They each could not wait to hold her. Brody was even excited which I was a little surprised. Helena is going to have a lot of help.

Cute blog!! Brody has been driving me crazy all day getting her stuff. Pillow, milk, pacifier asking "please sit" because he wants to hold her over and over again.

Marla, Your grandchildren are wonderful. How exciting for you to be so close and have the chance to visit them so often. It is good to catch up on your life affairs. I especially liked the rabbit post, it made me smile...

(that was Braydan above) I'm so happy she got to come home early! Good job eating Paris. The boys are so sweet with her. She's gonna have two bodyguards all her life :)
